Mommy hauled us all the way to the Salem County Fairgrounds for the South Jersey Pumpkin Show.
First, I got a picture with the scarecrow
Them I visited the giant dog, and sat on the tractor.
I posed in front of the pumpkin pyramid.
Then I wanted to ride a horse. I decided to ride in the cart instead. The pony’s name is Sugar Cookie.
I visited the petting zoo three times – it was my favorite! One of the times, I even fed them.
Timmy the miniature horse was my friend.
Dudey’s a miniature steer, but he didn’t look very “miniature” to me. And his name made me laugh… Doody… hehe.
There were supposed to be two donkeys, so there were two names. We don’t know which one was there, so we just called it “Donkey.”
Petey the llama wasn’t interested in me the first two times I visited, but I got some attention on my last visit.
Willy the potbellied pig was cute and funny.
And there were two more miniature horses. One was pregnant, and they were both for sale. Mommy said “no.”
There was no sign to tell us the names of the goats, but they were willing to eat anything I gave them… Even the hay and sawdust from the ground.
We took a break from the animals to go on rides. Mommy took me on this big slide, but I went on the other rides all by myself.
I sat down for a bit to enjoy my corn dog (hooray for fair food!)
And I still have to sit on benches when I see them.
Some nice ladies helped us out so mommy & I could be in these pictures together.
Of course, I had to visit the spooky graveyard.
And mommy and I went on our third hayride this season!
I insisted on climbing on this thing (we still don’t know what it is)
Right after this picture was taken, I stepped in horse poop!
We bought one of the pumpkins from the pyramid – and it was only $2!
And that was the end of our Pumpkin Show adventure. I think we’ll come back again next year.
